Retired

We bought you 8 years ago...almost to date...I can still remember the day. We were exploring the parks in the subarbs or Milwaukee, WI. They have the BEST parks! We were on our way to one when we drove by a garage sale. We stopped, as we always did, and looked around. We both knew we wanted you, but could we afford it...you see $75 for a bike trailer, and a used one at that, seemed a bit high on our very small budget. We went on our way without you and once we arrived at the destination (park), Dave drove back. I don't know how he fit you in our prelude, or how we came up with the money...that I have forgotten (eight years and three more kids will do that to you). But I do know that we got our moneys worth...and then some. You have accomponied us on more rides, walks, and runs than I can remember. More recently you have been home to a robins nest, grown some Louisiana mold, and become the flinstones mobile. So now it is time to say farewell... Thanks for the pounds eliminated, and the miles of fun...

(I wish I had a picture of the girls in this when they were young to put here...guess I never took one)

So does this mean that you got a replacement...chariot carrier? I am still shopping! Much to Heather's dismay as this seems to be the only baby shopping I am enthralled by.

Heheh. We have put so much mileage on the double-wide, that I wonder how the tires aren't yet bald. We are talking every day usage.

Ahhh, so sad. You'll have to find a new one, right, to continue the tradition.
