Arrrrr Mattie!

Spencer was so excited to have a friend party this year, so many fantastic friends to celebrate turning four with!
He loves maps, so we jumped on a Pirate party. I don't have pictures of the cake, (because it was to windy to set it up), but it was a treasure map with red licorice laces cut in small sections making the path that led to the X (which was Spencers special cup cake with a treasure inside).

It was super windy that day, so we only got a few pictures, and I didn't even bother hanging up the decorations after watching the ballons I tied up get ripped from their strings and blown across the pond.
All smiles for his very own camel back...now he can really ride with mom and dad!


This was his favorite present...an imaginext aircraft carrier. It was played with all weekend, and when the packers returned on Monday it was hard to let them pack it for him. (Although he was so excited to open it up again on the other end)

We hid a treasure for the kids to find using this map. They all LOVED this. Spencer and I had a lot of fun making the treasure box for this activity a few weeks prior. It was full of mardi gras necklaces and coins and party favors.
