The endless project list....

This post is a huge shout out to my amazing husband who does it all...
he celebrated his 35th birthday this year and boy do I love him.
It has been so wonderful to have him around a little more,

while he has been building his practice.

He has really gotten involved in the kids and their lives, and has also picked up many extra projects around the house for my sake. while we are slowly chipping away at all we would like to do, it seems there is always more, and Dave is always to willing to help make it happen.

Here are a few...

We have a wonderful fenced in garden area that needed some TLC. I spent last summer wishing I had that time and energy and to something with it. Dave spent a few days this fall putting some garden boxes together and then staining them.

He also put together this frame for a compost pile using the old wood from the garden.
If you can't tell...I am very excited for spring!
He also has kept up with our crazy lawn that has needed cut every five days this year, (I think this is where he curses the fact that I have green thumb), restained our top deck, and redid a cabinet in our kitchen that has been driving me crazy since we moved here.
One other way he has been super helpful has been in the transporting Amanda and her carpool friend home from swim practice most every day. Most helpful to our busy schedule and it gives the other kids and myself much needed rest from endless comings and goings these days.
And because he would totally hate that did a post just about him...here is a HUGE congrats to Amanda who took a 2nd place in the 25 m backstroke event in her last swim meet! Way to go Amanda! All that practicing is paying off!

And for Dave's last Horrah, he took apart our subwoofer, to figure why the darn thing stopped working a little while back.
