Happy #3 Jacob!

It is SO hard to believe that my baby turned three last month!  I think I am in denial...

He was really excited about his presents this time around, figured out that they have good stuff in them I suppose.  His favorite was by far this garbage truck.  He loves picking up the lego's with it and dumping them all over the playroom...(hmm maybe I should have thought that one through). 

He also loves his light saber, nearly defeated his Dad, and he and Spencer have had many of heated battles in the back yard with it.

Jacob also got an awesome fort building kit, which has been an all around favorite at our house and even inspired a downstairs camp out a few nights in a row.

Amanda made him this hat with his favorite color purple, and he wore it very proudly around the house, until it got used as the first piece of garbage for the garbage truck.  I told Amanda she should be proud he liked it enough to turn it into garbage for his favorite present.

Jacob has had a lot milestones this year, from moving out of a crib to potty training and becoming independent at nursery without mom or dad.  But by far my top three favorites this year are...

3.  Learning to speak so at least those here at home ( and a few other patient listeners) can understand him!  Woot woot!

2.  Learning to summer salt backwards and perform many other tricks while watching the Olympics.  check out this backstroke!

and.... 3.  He is still my snuggle bug who continues to like his nap, and STILL goes to bed at decent time!    What mom would not love that!
