Gordon Family Reunion and Madison and Cody's wedding

We spent five days in Deer Valley with the Gordon's in early July.  Dave found a great condo right on the ski run at mid-mountain that actually fit us all.  I am telling you that is a feat these days! 33 of us! Including sweet Everett who braved the reunion at only 3 week old, and Cody was able to come a for a few nights.  Andrew designed these awesome shirts for us all with the Gordon family crest on them.  And what is more is the bright yellow made it easy to spot someone when we were out and about.

The condo was a great location as the adults were able to fit in a lot more play time (biking mostly) in the mornings and evenings because the trails were right out the back door.  And the kids were happy just hanging out with their cousins.  We turned the hot tub cover into a slide temporarily one afternoon=)

We had a few family activities planned including this hike around Silver lake, followed by a dutch oven cook out Sunday afternoon (after being at Emily's for Everett's blessing).

We spent one full day at Park City resort riding the alpine slide, mountain coaster, rock climbing, zip lining, and jumping on the trampolines.

Notice the rare sighting of Amanda without a boot is gone....she fell and hurt her OTHER ankle just before this reunion.  Looks like another growth plate fracture...grrrr!  We did manage to find her some fun on the alpine slide though.  They even brought a wheelchair for her to ride on from the lift to the slide.  She was so thrilled!  Kuddo's to Miranda and Andrew to help make that happen for her.

I love biking here!  Ok, where don't I?  But it truly is like paradise when you take a lift to the top and ride through meadows in full bloom before a fun decent back to the bottom, then hope on a lift and do it again.

We had a few parties...one day to celebrate Josie and Cami's birthday.  And another to celebrate the bride to be with a wedding shower. It was a lot of crazy fun, including a surprised Madison, lots of tired giggly girls making toilet paper wedding dresses, and a glow in the dark dance party to finish off the evening.  Love this lady with the purple hair!  Can't believe she is getting married!

On the last day we stopped at the Olympic park after checking out and spent the afternoon with the Allreds. It is fun to watch the ski jumpers tricks before landing in the pool, and the museum is fun and free!

Two weeks later we got to travel back to Utah for Madison and Cody's wedding.  This time in Logan.  Madison was a gorgeous bride and it was fun to see her so happy and in love.

We fit in some Aggie ice cream, a trip to the greenhouse that I used to work at during my college days, an afternoon at the park to eat some bluebird chicken, and Dave and I got up early in the morning to mountain bike green canyon (Look at how tall those plants are!!!)   It was a great quick trip.
