We spent last weekend at an army resort cabin on toledo bend reservoir. It was beautiful weather and we all had a good time. We rented a boat for a few hours and island hopped, letting the kids explore, and had a picnic on one of the beaches.
Dave also got his canoe fix in, taking the kids for a spin around the camp ground area on friday night.
The rest of the week was spent finishing up unfinished household projects (Thank You Dave!), Dave packing, an OB appt., and a summer haircut for Spencer. We felt bad for the kid with the sweaty hair. But now I can't get over how much older he looks.

Wow, Spencer does look like such a big boy! It seems like just the other day he and Luke were hanging all over us as we tried to put together the residency graduation video. I hope the last few days before Dave deploys are enjoyable. Great to see pics of all of you.
Sounds like a great time. I'm glad you guess are having some good quality outdoor fun together! I can't wait to come see you guys in a few weeks.
Those hair cuts always make kids look older. I can't believe he is the same age as Owen. Spence has definitely taken on the big brother look already.
