This one was taken just last week, of the temp there...the top is the temp in the sun (146 F), and the middle in the shade (122 F)
(And to think I have been complaining of our 90's this week...)
He was able to venture off of base briefly and took this one of the town nearby...(I think Tal-Afar, but not positive.)
You can see the playground in the for front. All I can think of when I see that and the temperatures they have there is how hot it would be to the kids poor legs on those metal slides...ouch!

I love this post. My kids totally love that kind of stuff. I get a kick out of it because I know that is what my husband would send us. You look beautiful! I'm so sorry Dave won't be there.
