Spring Break

After much deliberation we decided we would stick around here and have a "stay-cation"for our Spring Break this year, well for the most part anyway. We ventured up to the Mesa for one last ski day and made a cave in the snow overhang. Played outside in the 70 degree weather most everyday. And took the kids to the dirt bike park for some fun.

We did a short road trip to Monticello, UT so Dave and I could go to the temple. We visited the needles entrance to Canyonlands, NP on the way down and Moab on the way back and did some fabulous hikes with the kids.

If you look closely you can see a guy repelling down the middle of this arch. That was amazing to watch.
Santa brought me a new camera for Christmas that is taking some getting used to, but I am loving all of the features...

(This is the same arch the guy was repelling down, just using a panoramic feature.)

Amidst all the playing, Dave and I celebrated 13 years on the 13th.

Happy Anniversary! That looks like a great Spring Break. How did you go to the temple with all the kids? Wishing we lived closer right now. We really need some cross-country skiing in our lives...

Snow Skiing, a snow cave, and hiking in short sleeves during the same Spring Break? That's a successful spring break, my friend. Would have loved to see those arches.
