Easter and a new toy

It has been a great month, I will hopefully blog more later, but as it took me forever to figure out bloggers new format today this is all for now. We started off with a trip to St George to spend Easter with cousins and family. It was a quick one, but no one really cared as the drive is beautiful and the company great. The kids took their scooters and ripstik, and Dave not wanting to be left out brought his newest toy, a slack line. This is it set up in our front yard between two very established trees, the kids love it and get better every time.

Maren, forever the daredevil started off pretty much trying to do tricks on it. It has some spring to it and she loves jumping off then trying to land back on it again.  It also has some sway to it, so it is very hard to stay on at first, but as your muscles get used to it, it does get easier.

Back to St George...After a great hike up one of our favorite canyons (in which I got to do a little repelling, thanks Luke!) We set up for a picnic and some slack lining. It was a hit and even some onlookers joined in the fun. This is a picture of Dave's sisters, it is my favorite because this is how they are all the time when they are together.
They did this for each other over and over again.
I hope my kids will be that good of friends one day.

Jacob and Spencer discovered the joy of mountain streams.

We spent Easter morning hunting for a few eggs, then headed to church for a wonderful sacrament meeting, and back home for a yummy Easter dinner.
