Christmas Morning mayhem and craziness

Love the Christmas morning pictures.  You would think after owning my camera for a year I could decent pictures, but certain lighting is really tricky for me...but you get the picture anyway=)   I loved how excited all my kids were about each of their gifts...especially Amanda, she was so giddy to get a Nook, you would never know Santa didn't get her a dog, phone, or i-pod she had on her wish list...phew!  Santa gave the kids a Foosball table, which they love and he brought me a food sealer...now I can really go to town with my food storage.

Each of the kids got a big new Lego set.  They had some before, but this made their collection much much bigger, and much for fun.  They are obsessed, it is all they do now.  I didn't grow up with Legos, so I don't really appreciate them, but it is really fun to see them make creations and Dave totally gets it and can be lost at the Lego table with them for hours.

My mom was here for Christmas morning (and the whole week before as well) and she gave the kids this dart board.  They love it.  It is magnetic and way fun.

It was so great to have my mom here for Christmas, the kids loved her attention and I loved the company, and the extra set of hands to get things done.  It was especially nice Christmas eve when is dumped about 8 inches of snow on us and needed to shovel as Dave was working..of course.  It was so beautiful, though.  Mom manned the crazy Christmas Eve dinner preparations.  And we pulled through.

She also let Dave and I get away for a ski together which was great, but super cold.  My camelbak tube got frozen solid and Dave had a great time taking pictures of me trying to get a drink...ha ha!
