A short few days after our Bear lake trip we turned around and came back to Utah for one last hurrah to summer. We spent an afternoon at seven peaks with cousins, and had a blast. Finally the boys were brave enough to most of the rides, and they loved it!
My niece Elyssa, was married in the Salt lake Temple to Matthias, and we were able to be there to support her. It was a lovely day, with a beautiful bride and my kids loved spending the day with cousins and eating yummy food. Maren helped clear tables with Lindsey and loved being asked to do so.
We stayed with Tonya and Eric and had a blast at their house. Here Eric is teaching the boys how to stick out their tummy's and look tough.
We spent an afternoon floating the Provo river with Marchant cousins. It was a beautiful and fun day up the canyon. Sadly this is my only picture, taken sitting in traffic backed up by a wreck in the canyon.
We planned a fun party to watch the Olympic opening ceremony, and my van died on the way there. It was really scary to be on 1-15 with a van full of kids and then start shaking and loose all power. Luckily I have lots of awesome family members (and a really nice police officer) who helped me get to safety, and after an unplanned weekend with Doug and Heather, and another scary break down trying to get the car to the shop, we got the van fixed so I could drive home in time for school to start the next week.
But who's complaining when you get to spend a few extra days with this little guy?!?
