With COVID numbers in our area remaing quite low, we felt comfortable traveling somewhat locally for some adventures in the great outdoors. We invited some friends along to Boggy draw for a camp out and some biking and lake fun.
It was perfect. Perfect biking for all the kids, and adults. Perfect camping, where it wasn't too busy, and perfect weather.
Well mostly perfect weather anyway. There was random thunderstorms in the afternoon that made for some creative problem solving. But overall a perfect trip.
The Bell family introduced us to exploding kittens. The kids stayed up way late playing acouple of nights. It was epic. They had a blast together.
They also built a pretty cool teepee out of sticks they found lying around, and did some cool Indian dancing when they weren't biking.
The Bell's left a day ahead of us, and we spent the last afternoon at Mesa Verde National Park. It was so empty. We really enjoyed seeing what was open without any crowds around, and Maren, Spencer and I did a fun hike.
