Happy Birthday Spencer!

The past two years have flown by so quickly with my sweet Spencer. When I was expecting Spencer I had such mixed feelings about having a boy, after doing the girl thing for so long, I didn't know how a boy would fit in. Then he was born...and I was in love. We are so lucky to have him to love in our home.
He loves balls,

and can name them all...over and over and over again.

He loves anything that go's...bikes, cars, big trucks...

"choo-choo's"...

"cycles" (motorcycles), airplanes, helicopters, and the school bus. For the last three weeks we have spent the mornings in our pajama's watching Amanda walk to the school bus and waiting for it to pull away. The whole time with him shouting..."cool bus, 'cool bus." He likes to look at books and will become attached to certain pages that any of the above objects appear in...thus we don't turn the page from the object...unless there is another on another page. He is really starting to communicate well with us, using two and three word sentences, but he still loves to sign as well, even correcting me when I am wrong. He is often the family clown, doing anything to get his sisters to laugh, and loving any and all attention that he can muster out of us. He has mastered the art of wrestling Maren to the ground...already.
Spencer still loves to snuggle and he gives the best hugs. He is super attached to his duck blanket, and his ball blanket, and he still loves Amanda's Baby Rose. All three of which are required for bedtime.

And who couldn't just love those dimples, and his sunbleached hair, and those cowboy legs of his. Although he is showing signs of growing up...I am in complete denial. He will always be my little man.

He is such a cutie. Today we were driving Kate to her cousins house and she kept saying, "Spencer's house and Maren's house!?!" We all miss you guys. Reading your blog just made me realize how life never really slows down - even when you're doing "nothing" the kids make life go a hundred miles an hour. It's fun - and exhausting. :)
