He's Here

Jacob Cole Gordon
9 lbs 3 oz
22 inches
Baby Jake arrived on Thursday, July 16th, at 6:52 pm, via an emergency c-section due to a prolapsed cord, after ~8 hours of active labor. He is a beautiful baby, with big eyes, a quiet disposition, and his dad's hair line. Recovery from the surgery is going well. Thanks to so many for your fervent prayers, and sincere help. More to come...

He's absolutely beautiful! Hang in there, you are in our prayers. Andrew was delivered emergency c-section after active labor and I know how strenuous that can be on the body! Hoping your recovery goes well! He's so cute! Congratulations!

Natalie - he's beautiful, and has such cute, chunky cheeks! Congrats on baby Jacob! How are the girls doing with him? I be they're just in love with him! Any word on if Dave will be able to come home for some R&R anytime soon? Continue getting better, and good luck in the coming weeks! We miss you!

Yay! So glad he is here safely! Congrats! What a darling little boy! I was just talking to my mom and I was telling her you had your baby and she said "I love Natalie, she was my favorite friend of yours and I always want to keep in touch with her." I gave her your blog address!

I don't know what a prolapsed cord is, but it sounds scary. I'm glad you and baby are doing well and that you have your brother there with you. I hope you continue to recover well. I like the name you decided on as well. I'll try to call you soon so that you can practice talking on the phone and nursing. :)
