Pudding Time!

So we have this crazy tradition of taking pictures of our kids eating chocolate pudding. I had bought some a few weeks ago, not even thinking about feeding some to Jacob. But Dave remembered and took a few pics and did the clean up afterward...love that man!

Yummy!Self feeding at it's best.

And for the grand finale...

He loved it and was covered from head to torso=)

I have to say he has come a long way food wise over the last few months. At nine months I was truely questioning if I was going to have to nurse him for the rest of his life. He would not eat hardly anything. Anytime I would try something new he would have to taste it three or four times before swallowing, and usually he would not eat that same food the next time I tried it. On top of that he would not take anything from a bottle and only water from a sippie. Now look at him...does he look like he needs water!!!!! This kid needs to bulk up! But I am happy to say three months later that he is now eating a wide range of food (thanks to my mom for lots of ideas and lots of pep talks on the subject) and is now drinking soy milk (discovered he is allergic to cows milk) regularly from a sippie and is down to only one nursing in the evening.

And the best part...drum roll please....he is now sleeping through the night!

That was the funniest baby-covered-in-food photo I have ever seen! I laughed out loud. Thanks for that. Congrats on the the feat with food and Jacob. Sounds like it's been a long ride and HOORAY for sleeping through the night!

I sure hope it's pudding!

Yay for sleeping through the night! Mallory was the same way with food.....8-9m old before she'd take anything besides breastmilk, and she was/is such a lightweight. Good news to be past that challenge. He is adorable with his pudding face!

I love the first picture because you can see in the smile that he knows exactly what he is going to do with this. I love it.
