Maren turned five last week. She has the sweetest personality, almost always happy and pleasant to be around (unless we are traveling of course). She loves ice cream, balloons, barbies, babies, her friend Analise, riding her scooter and playing with her big sister.
She has always been our early bird, and usually wakes up with a smile saying "Maren's awake mommy". She announces when she needs to go the bathroom, and half the time her bottom is naked before reaching the door! We are working on that. She is currently learning to write her name and jump rope.
She doesn't like other people, namely mom, to watch her play. If I poke my head in while she is in the middle of something she will tell me "I'm just pretending", and then proceed to give me this look like will you go away please! She loves picking out her own clothes, and is surprisingly good at picking things that match. She also loves to pick out her hair things and then asks "Do I look beautiful mommy?" Of course she always does. Happy #5 Maren!

Yeah! I am so glad you started a blog. Fancy background and slide shows...you catch on fast. I am glad I get to keep up with your family easier.

Maren is growing up so fast. I didn't realize that she and Whitney were only about 9 months apart. Maren is beautiful and looks much like mommy.

What would our life be without Maren? She is a very important part of life in our family as well. Analise has regained her spark since you guys moved to Fort Polk with us.
