Does she really have to keep growing up? I wish I could put a freeze on her and make her stay my little girl forever =)

I love this picture, as it is so how I think of my sweet Amanda. She is so sweet to her little siblings. She let Spencer open almost all of her presents for her. He loved it! And she was so happy to let him do it. Not even slightly unhappy, just loved to let him share her big day! She is growing into a beautiful young girl, inside and out.
We made these "mice creams" from the cutest kids cookbook (Simple Recipes for Kids) my mom had sent me for my birthday. Thanks mom it is a huge hit already!

Heheh. It is wonderful to hear their blessings and see pictures of the kids. It is hard to believe that little Amanda is NINE. In just a few years, it will be young womens. Good heavens, that makes me at least feel more old than having a few little ones running me ragged. How long is Dave expecting till he hears again from the military?
