Spencers 5!

 It has been a big year for this little man of mine.  He moved just a few days after his fourth birthday and had quite an adjustment period getting used to a much quieter neighborhood, new routines, and making new friends.  He grew up a lot this year amidst all of that but is still the same old full of spunk and energy little boy that he was a year ago, although with a few more inches on his stature. 

He requested a "Go Diego Go" party and somehow amidst the end of school hoopla, mom delivered. 

 We had a few friends over and celebrated with a game of guessing animals (animal charades basically), and a rescue animal safari (finding toy animals in the yard basically), and some cupcakes and ice cream. 

Spencer got his CTR (Choose the Right) block from his primary leaders at church.  It has been a favorite in the play room.

Spencer is really into asking all those what? why? how? questions lately.  So I thought I would tribute Spencer with my five favorites he has come up with lately. 

1-"How does the garbage truck fit all that garbage into his truck?"

2-After studying our recycling bins, "Where does the recycling truck put all this stuff?"

3-"How do you build a playground...a pond...a building...the plastic swing?????"

3-"How do they build these cracks in the road?"

4-And my personal favorite "How do you grow these beautiful flowers mom? 

(dandelions in the lawn of course)"
