Vacation Thoughts

A few quotes from our trip...

About 100 miles from our home...
Natalie "Did you see that pile of bags in the middle of the freeway, what is that all about?"
Dave " But did you see the couch a few miles back."
(maybe that is Louisiana's version of a rest stop=)

Amanda (phylosopher in training)
Amanda "Mom what came first, a.m. or p.m.?"
any thoughts?

Maren on the beach during one of those fabulous sunsets...the girls were told they could wade, but not get all wet. A few waves "surprised" them and before we knew it they were both soaked, clothes and all, then Maren comes out of the water and says "Mom is it ok if I get wet?" =)

As for Spencer her entertained us all on the drive with his ball antics. He figured out if he threw his ball directly in front of him it would bounce of the front seat and back to him. The rest of the time we were left fishing for it. I am amazed at how a simple ball will keep him entertained for so long, and how any toy can be made into a ball at anytime. Like the toy train that got thrown in RS this last week. Luckily he didn't clock some poor unsuspecting sister.=)

I think p.m. came first . . . in the beginning it was dark, right? And then Jesus said, "let there be light" . . . :)

Nat - thanks for the link to your blog. I've loved reading it. Glad to see you are all settled in out there.

So funny! Isn't it fun to listen to kids (when thier not screaming). They can say the funniest things. It is fun to have them written down so you can tell them about what they said later.

And really, it is fun to see a couch on the road. All we see out here is dead animals. I have added too many to count to that total. :)
